Affiliate Marketing for Non Profits

Affiliate Marketing for Non Profits | Monroe & Kent Home

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Monroe & Kent Home actively participates in giving back to the local community. Our efforts have included cash, cash equivalents and merchandise donations to organizations like Cradles to Crayons, Stray Cat Relief Fund, Cathedral Kitchen and Loving Them Forward.

We recently piloted a program that enables non-profits to develop additional sources of income by partnering with Monroe & Kent Home via our affiliate program.

Affiliate programs work by providing a third party (such as a non-profit) with a shareable link that can be posted on social media, used in email campaigns and shared via other channels.

When someone, (for example a fan of your Facebook page, or an email subscriber) clicks on the link and makes a purchase, the fan or email subscriber receives a discount on their purchase, and the third party (non-profit in this example), makes a commission on the sale.

Affiliate marketing is a great way for organizations like yours to benefit from purchases that your supporter community are already making.

How it Works

  • In partnership with your designated marketing contact, Monroe & Kent Home creates image or video assets (or both) which are used as part of a digital marketing campaign.
  • Monroe & Kent Home, using industry standard technology targets your supporter community with these advertisements on social media, google and where agreed, your email marketing list.
  • Interested members of your supporter community who are in the market for products that Monroe & Kent Home sells, click the advertisement and land on our website.
  • Your dedicated URL is associated to the advertisement meaning that we are able to track traffic and any sales that occur as a result of your supporter community.
  • Your supporter receives a discount (typically 10%) and you receive a commission (typically 10%) of net sale value, which is paid at the end of each calendar month.
