As part of our continued growth, we're looking to hire, an Operations Associate, who is highly organized with excellent customer service skills and a passion for design.

Responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Assisting clients in-store if the Design team is engaged with other clients
  • Answering in-bound calls and connecting them to the appropriate team member
  • Managing the customer service email account and routing questions to the appropriate team member and/or providing solutions to customers and vendors that leaves a positive impression of Monroe & Kent Home
  • Creating Design Decks in Google Slides
  • Researching new products and vendors to offer in-store and online, in addition to assisting the Design team in preparing options for clients to consider
  • Creating Estimates, Sales Orders, Invoices and Purchase Orders and sharing with customers/vendors
  • Processing web orders & entering tracking information
  • Adding products to and maintaining product data on the web site
  • Obtaining trucking quotes and scheduling merchandise pick-ups, tracking delivery status, updating customers and scheduling customer deliveries
  • Filing claims with vendors and/or trucking companies for damaged merchandise received to store or to a customers home
  • Updating and maintaining the company CRM system
  • Other reasonable tasks as directed

Suitable candidates will possess the followings skills & experience:

  • Proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Docs & Google Slides or Microsoft Office equivalents
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Highly organized is a must
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize and ever changing workload
