COMPLIMENTARY WITH PURCHASE DESIGN SERVICES
Monroe & Kent Home offers design services that are complimentary with purchase. We will assist you with any design requirements that you may have. This is charged at $175 + Tax per room. We will credit the fee against purchases that you proceed with for each room you commission.

In the event that you do not move forward with any options that we propose, the fee is not refundable. Complimentary with purchase design services include furniture, lighting & accessories, mood boards, floor plans. It does not include structural plans or color/finish recommendations for rooms.

PAYMENT POLICY
Monroe & Kent Home requires payment in full on all Quick Ship orders. Quick Ship is considered delivery in under 12 weeks whether it is currently stocked or not. For Custom Orders, a 50% deposit is required at the time of order with the balance paid 72-hours prior to delivery.

METHOD OF PAYMENT
Monroe & Kent Home accepts payment for merchandise via MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and Monroe & Kent Home Revolving Charge. We do not accept payment by personal check or cash.

You agree not to initiate a chargeback or dispute with your credit card company if we decline to honor a request that runs contrary to the terms and conditions that you have agreed to, for example, cancelling an order outside of the cancellation period.

In the unlikely event an issue arises with your order, such as delayed delivery you agree to work with Monroe & Kent Home to resolve any issue to our mutual satisfaction. Should you initiate a chargeback or dispute, you accept and agree that Monroe & Kent Home may pass through associated costs in defending the chargeback or dispute or ultimately pass it to our outside collections agency.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Quick Ship & Custom Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. After 24 hours, Quick Ship & Custom Orders up to $5,000 may be cancelled prior to delivery after a 30% cancellation fee is paid. Orders over $5,000 may not be cancelled after 24 hours of the order being placed.

Clearance and Floor Sample purchases are final sale and are non-cancellable or non-refundable. A refund is only available in the event that the merchandise is delivered damaged and the damage is not what has been notified to you prior to purchase. Damage must be notified at the time of delivery.

Accessories such as rugs, lighting & décor, purchased in-store or online may be returned in "like new" condition for a full refund within 14-days of purchase.
If a return is not being made in store, customer is responsible for all return shipping charges and original shipping charges (if any) will be deducted from refund.

Cancellations and refunds are not available after delivery. The option of a refund is only available in the event that an item is delivered damaged and damage must be notified at the time of the delivery.

FINAL PAYMENT
All balances on Custom Orders or deferred deliveries must be paid 72-hours prior to delivery. You may contact your Design Associate to make payment over the phone, come into store or request a secure payment link be emailed to you. Unpaid orders will be removed from the delivery schedule 24 hours prior to delivery, so please do contact us if you need more time to pay, or to reschedule your delivery.

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE
Monroe & Kent Home will provide you with an estimated lead time for merchandise that you order. We will inform you if the item is in stock in our New Jersey warehouse. If the item is shipping from one of our vendor warehouses, we will provide you with a time frame on when we expect to receive it to our New Jersey warehouse. This includes Custom Orders.

There are occasions where an order may be delayed and Monroe & Kent Home will communicate any delay to you at the earliest opportunity and work with you to reasonably resolve your concerns to your satisfaction. You understand that Monroe & Kent Home is not responsible for delays as a result of production delays, shipping or customs issues.

DELIVERY/MEASUREMENTS
It is the customers responsibility to measure for proper fit of furniture into your home. If you are unsure, please speak with your Design Associate for assistance. If a piece is too large for your room, or cannot be delivered/installed due to size utilizing acceptable delivery procedures (a two man crew through the front or back door of your property), Monroe & Kent Homes does not assume responsibility. Hoisting or disassembly/reassembly is at customers expense.

In the event that you are not available for your delivery appointment, Monroe & Kent Home reserves the right to charge a redelivery fee (even if your initial delivery was free). The redelivery fee will be $99 + tax if your home address is 15 miles or less from the store you ordered from (or nearest store to you if you order online), and $199 + tax if your home address is greater than 15 miles from the store you ordered from, (or nearest store to you if you order online).

DAMAGE/DEFECTS
Monroe & Kent Home makes every effort to ensure that your merchandise arrives in good condition.

If your order is received damaged, please ensure that you notify us immediately.

Damage reported after our delivery team or delivery service provider has left may result in a denied claim. Please call (302) 330.8944 option 1 to report damage.

SERVICE POLICY
Monroe & Kent Home prides itself on selling high quality furniture, lighting, rugs & décor. Your relationship with our firm does not end after delivery. We stand behind all merchandise that we sell with the manufacturer warranty and any additional extended warranty that is taken up.
